At Hotel Weingarten, we know how to put our guests at ease. For this purpose, we have created a small wellness area in the cellar of our hotel. An intimate and cozy space where you can indulge to the embrace of a hot cloud of steam. The ideal place to let the fatiques and daily concerns slip away.
In our wellness area, we have a steam sauna and a Finnish sauna. All our saunas are open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and can host up to 4-5 persons at a time.
The steam sauna works by altering exposure to heat with application of cold water over the whole body. Thanks to this technique, it is possible to obtain numerous advantages for the body.
The alteration of hot and cold promotes the elimination of toxins from the body. Besides, the heat widens the pores of the skin. Thus, thanks to the perspiration produced in sauna, heavy metals get expelled from the epidermis along with water and mineral salts.
That’s how, thanks to a proper exposure to steam, we can relax and, at the same time, get great benefits for our health.
The Finnish sauna is also properly called “dry sauna”. Inside the cabin, the temperature can reach 80-100°, while the humidity does not exceed 10-20%. This high temperature causes an abundant skin perspiration.
